In 2016 Rachel Doerr set up Doerr Valuations Ltd to create a truly independent and niche business, with such a degree of personal attention that clients could be completely confident in the service being offered for Fine Art and Jewellery and more.

On 1 October 2019 David Dallas became a shareholder and appointed chief executive. David brings his wealth of industry experience and contacts and together with Rachel concentrates on the growth and future of the company. The company became Doerr Dallas Valuations to reflect this new chapter.

On 1 April 2022 – Ben Hanly & Alastair Meiklejon became company shareholders and appointed Directors. Both bring a wealth of knowledge to the business; younger drive and direction as we look at our growth plan and the future of the company.

Our valuation team includes some of the most renowned and internationally recognised specialists working throughout the UK and Europe covering all area of Fine Art, Antiques, Silver, Jewellery, Watches, Classic Cars, Books and Manuscripts, and other valuable collectables.

In some areas our specialists are the acknowledged experts and because of this are in contact with scholars around the world who are at our disposal for opinions.

We work throughout the UK and Europe providing independent valuations for insurance, inheritance tax purposes, divorce and family division and providing independent advice on buying and selling.
