We wanted a home visit to do a complete inventory and valuation of our watches and jewelry. The visit was arranged within seven days and the final report was also issued within seven days. The report is very clear, with comprehensive descriptions and photographs, so we now have a complete record in one place, which will be invaluable should we ever need to make an insurance claim. Until recently we have always estimated the replacement value ourselves for insurance purposes. After agreeing a price, two valuers from Doerr Dallas, Ben and Alastair, spent a day with us photographing and examining dozens of items within our collection. They then spent a number of days researching and valuing our collection and after a couple of weeks we were presented with a comprehensive document, containing details of the collection including photos, descriptions and the replacement value of each item, which we were able to present to our insurance company. They carried out a large scale project valuing over 280 items in the Council's collection. On seeking a valuation report for the collection I contacted both Christie's and Sotheby's, both independently recommended Doerr Dallas to value the collection. I got in touch and made the arrangements for the valuation. I found the Rachel and the company to be professional, helpful and efficient. They answered all questions promptly and communicated very well. A team of specialists came to the site and performed the valuation on an agreed date. A final report was then submitted. There were a few corrections to be suggested, but with 500 items to value, that's not bad.! It's a shame a few seconds were not afforded to removing items on chairs before a photograph was taken. We wanted a home visit to do a complete inventory and valuation of our watches and jewelry. The visit was arranged within seven days and the final report was also issued within seven days. The report is very clear, with comprehensive descriptions and photographs, so we now have a complete record in one place, which will be invaluable should we ever need to make an insurance claim. I felt the pricing was competitive for the service and we know it will now be easy to update the valuations remotely every 2-3 years. Excellent service all round!

Until recently we have always estimated the replacement value ourselves for insurance purposes. However, when we came to renew our insurance, this year, the insurance company insisted on having a professional valuation of the collection. We turned to Doerr Dallas for help and advice. After agreeing a price, two valuers from Doerr Dallas, Ben and Alastair, spent a day with us photographing and examining dozens of items within our collection. They were very pleasant individuals and easy to deal with. We found them professional, helpful, trustworthy and hard-working. They then spent a number of days researching and valuing our collection and after a couple of weeks we were presented with a comprehensive document, containing details of the collection including photos, descriptions and the replacement value of each item, which we were able to present to our insurance company. They carried out a large scale project valuing over 280 items in the Council's collection. On seeking a valuation report for the collection I contacted both Christie's and Sotheby's, both independently recommended Doerr Dallas to value the collection. I got in touch and made the arrangements for the valuation. I found the Rachel and the company to be professional, helpful and efficient. They answered all questions promptly and communicated very well. A team of specialists came to the site and performed the valuation on an agreed date. A final report was then submitted. The knowledge and expertise of the specialists was absolutely clear when reading the report. The art, jewellery and general valuation experts Rachel sent us: Ben Hanley, Francesca Valentini and Alastair Meiklejon, were a pleasure to welcome into our home. They were all knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and professional. We learned much about the things we own and which have been passed to us by our families which we never knew. This was not only a valuable exercise for the purpose of insuring our property, but a fascinating and very enjoyable process. Rachel and her team of highly skilled, highly professional experts were a pleasure to work with.
